I'm back!! Stuffy nose and all!! Our spelling words for next week are words that are plurals using a vowel plus the letter y. They are: toys, cowboys, days, bays, rays, plays, trays, runways, bluejays, birthdays, keys, monkeys, turkeys, donkeys, and valleys. Our bonus words are friends and cooperation.
Our theme reading for next week is about a clown college. Words are: event, comic, energy, tryouts, laughter, audience, costume, entertain, professional and carnivals. Please go over the meaning of these words with your children.
We will have our first math test next week on Tuesday. It will be on basic math facts on addition and subtraction to 20.
We will have a review quiz on the four communities we have studied in Social Studies, (Ahousat, Fort Nelson, Kelowna, and Vancouver) on Wednesday of next week.
